Irony -  is defined as "a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result."


Sometimes it is intended to be amusing, but in the following, it is pathetically sad and disgusting.

The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.

THE AMAZING CONCLUSION:

The higher you go in the corporate structure, the smaller your balls become. There Must be a ton of politicians in Washington playing MARBLES!

Obama Budget Banks on Tax Hikes

I bet you missed this in the Integrity Free Media.  You probably heard from them how Obama was going to lower taxes, create millions of jobs, and bring us the largest recovery in the last 100 years.  But wait, as always what the IFM tells us is a complete lie.

The facts are:

Obama's budget generates another $1 Trillion + deficit.
Obama's budget contains $2 Trillion in new taxes and fees

Obama's budget will raise taxes on households making more than $250,000 and individuals making more than $200,000, the top income tax rate would rise from 35 percent to 39.6 percent. 

Obama's budget will raise the rate on qualified dividends from 15 percent to 39.6 percent. 

Obama's budget will raise the rates on long-term capital gains from 15 percent to 20 percent. 

Obama's budget will raise the estate tax, or more appropriately called the "death tax," from 45 percent from 35 percent. 

Obama's budget raises fees on businesses and offers up almost $1 Trillion in support for his Muslim brothers in Arab Spring so they can reek havoc and unrest in the Middle East!

Just Obama's idea of all of us "paying our fair share", while nearly 45% of American's pay no tax whatsoever!  Let's pray that the Republicans and the sane Democrats will try to stop this!

Remember this in November and vote out all the liberals and the republicans who support his madness!

Obama loses financial backing of big San Fran donor

Now when I saw this headline I began to think Wow, maybe there is hope that the conservatives can beat this guy.  But just when you get your hopes up and read the article, you find that the donor, Ms. Susie Tompkins Buell,  is abandoning him, not because Obama's views are too liberal and wacky but because his views are not liberal and wacky enough!

You gotta really worry about these folks!  I mean seriously Ms. Buell, in the past 10 years,  has given $25 million to progressive political and charitable causes and has raised $10 million for candidates and committees and apparently really loves Obama, but even though he did shut down the Keystone Pipeline Project, he didn't do it in a loud enough and egregious enough way to appease the nuttiest of the nut cases in San Francisco.  Go figure!

But someone remind me how another Pipeline is going to be an ecological disaster by pointing out where the Keystone Pipeline would fall within the vast pipeline system of non-leaking, non-volital pipelines shown below.

The Dumbing Down of America

For as long as I can remember my friends and I have been discussing the dumbing down of America.   The general consensus is that America's schools have done such a poor job that American intelligence is continuing to fall and that at one point we will be a nation lead by "nit wits".  Well I must tell you  I think we are getting very close.

Obama continues to trample the US Constitution with his actions, while the backbone of America, the working man looks on in disgust!  This painting apparently caused the liberals to go berserk and of course thought it was full of hate!

Did I miss something, when did the District of Columbia become a State?

I have been traveling a lot lately trying to find work to make more money so I can pay for all the free stuff that the Socialist in Washington keep giving away to buy votes for themselves, so I could have missed this but when did the District of Columbia  become a state?  Wasn't it set up specifically as the seat of the government without the status of a State specifically by congress?

Seems that Gallop believes that the District of Columbia is actually a state?  I actually remember when Alaska and Hawaii became states and it seems to me that it was a pretty drawn out process and that Congress was involved.   I guess is just missed all this for DC?

Obama's Birth Control Plan - More Free Stuff from Obama

Well this week the Socialist in Chief Comrade Barrack Hussein Obama gave away some more free stuff to the nation's takers.  This week he simply decreed that health insurance providers will provide free birth control to all women who want it and guess what the health insurance companies must provide it for free. An Obama administration official said this week that the new policy would not allow health insurers to increase their premiums, charge co-payments or deductibles to make up for the cost of contraceptives.

Now this is a really nice perk for those who want and need birth control, but if they don’t have to pay for it, who do you think is going to pay for this “free” stuff Obama just gave away!

Obama just said it can not be the consumer of the product! It certainly ain’t going to be the pharmaceutical providers (nor should it be), it ain’t going to be the insurance company (nor should it be.  So the only ones left to pay, as always, is us! 

So if you have a job or own a business, buckle up, Obama and the Socialist in congress are giving away more of your hard earned money everyday to those who are the takers in our society.

Of course everyone who is getting “free stuff” is happy, but those of us who continue to pay for the all the free stuff Congress and the Administration give away are getting tired of paying for all the free stuff. 

You see Free Stuff is Never Free!

So Folks when you go to the polls, choose very carefully who you vote for, the only way you stop those in Washington from giving away all your money, is to vote them out of office!

Europe Saves the Planet with its new Carbon Tax!

So if you read the linked article you will see that the European Union, in an apparent desperate attempt to solve their economic issues, has decided that the rest of the world should bail them out through their new "carbon tax" on airlines flying into and out of Europe.  But you know they have to do it, because if they don't the world will end soon from all the carbon emissions the business folks and tourist burn up going and coming to the EU.

Of course the airlines and the IATA and many others are up in arms about this, even the Chief Female Socialist in Comrade Obama's cabinet, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has called upon the EU to delay enactment of this carbon tax, but to no avail.  North American airlines filed a complaint with the European Court of Justice but the complaint has already been rejected.


Everyone seems to have their nickers in a twist over this, but there is simple economic resolution.  Let the EU implement their "carbon tax" and feel good about saving the world.  Airlines flying into the EU will simply add the price of the tax to the tickets and consumers will decide if they want to pay it.  If they do then everyone is a winner.  If consumers choose not to fly into the EU, airlines will simply stop flying into the EU altogether.  The countries that will suffer will be the European countries due to their loss of economic activity for their businesses, increased cost to the rest of the world to do business in the EU, and a significant drop in tourism and travel will result from this stupidity.  This little socialist ploy will do what socialism always does, it will completely choke what little economic activity still exists in Europe and send the whole continent on an even faster slide into economic collapse.  But their is good news, the EU leadership can feel good since their carbon footprint will be really low!

Do the Republican Candidates really want to Win in 2012?

Former Governor Romney is quite possibly the world's most polished, richest, most advertized, most consultant-assisted candidate in the world, who is now, after Florida, The big, Big, BIG front runner for the Republican Presidential nomination.  

And then says the following on National TV,

“I’m in this race because I care about Americans. I’m not concerned about the very poor, we have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I’ll fix it. I’m not concerned about the very rich, they’re doing just fine. I’m concerned about the very heart of America, the 90-95% of Americans that are struggling.”  

Any person remotely in touch with reality would have known better to ever say something this asinine!  

The Class Warfare King of spin and deceit must have fallen off his Throne or out of his golf cart when he heard this, thinking, as we all are "do you belief these Republican clowns?"

 

I'm sure the Democrats will play this little bite 50 million times to demonstrated how totally out of touch the Republican's are with real Americans!  

I'm beginning to think the Republican's are done! 

But we still have nearly 9 months left so maybe, someday, somewhere, someone will wake up and realize, we need a real conservative candidate to lead the Republican party.

In a random act of journalism, the Washington Times ran a great article this week about the failures of the Obama Presidency.

"Despite his background as a liberal street organizer, Senator Obama campaigned on tax cuts and personal responsibility and preached that the government simply cannot be the answer to every problem.  Republicans would have no choice but to go along with an agenda to shrink the tax burden and get the federal government out of our everyday lives.


Instead, President Obama has devoted his administration to raising taxes, adding to the byzantine structure of the federal government, and has created a whole new massive bureaucracy he claims really will cure our every little boo-boo."  The entire article can be read here and is very much worth the read!

Interestingly the CBO announced this week that, although President Obama has yet to produce a budget, the Federal Deficit will be $1,100 billion (or $1 trillion) this fiscal year.  That means we will be borrowing another $1,100 billion from someone just to meet our obligations, while the Elected Royalty in Washington talk about slashing Federal spending by $200 billion ($0.2 Trillion).  The entire crew in Washington needs to be voted out!  

Vote wisely in November, and remember that no matter who the Republican candidate is if you are not voting for him or her, you are by default casting a vote for the Community Organizer turned Divisive President

Afghan woman is killed 'for giving birth to a girl'

A woman in north-eastern Afghanistan has been arrested for allegedly strangling her daughter-in-law for giving birth to a third daughter.

The murdered woman's husband, a member of a local militia, is also suspected of involvement but he has since fled.

The murder took place two days ago in Kunduz province. The baby girl, who is now two months old, was not hurt.

One wonders what there is that is worth another American life in Afghanistan when these kinds of atrocities occur on a regular basis.

Let me get this straight are we to believe that Afghanistan leaders under Islamic law, are okay with killing women who have girl babies but irate and incensed when the soldiers who are there fighting, presumably to make their country livable again, kill a few bad guys (the enemy) and then pee on their bodies!  Really!

When are we going to stop waisting precious American lives and American tax dollars in these shit holes around the world!
