Obama's Memorial Day

This Memorial Day, the President with the most disdain for the military I have ever seen in my 60 + years is now, because it is an election year and his poll numbers are in the toilet, out acting like he cares!

Obama is quoted in USA Today Online with this line, "But on Memorial Day," he added, "we come together as Americans to let these families and veterans know that they are not alone. We give thanks for those who sacrificed everything so that we could be free. And we commit ourselves to upholding the ideals for which so many patriots have fought and died."   To which I can only add the now infamous words of Congressman Joe Wilson, YOU LIE!

From where I sit in the world here in flyover country, Joe was right!  Isn't this the President who:

• Refused to wear a flag lapel pin because it was too patriotic then when he needed votes started wearing it again.
• Went on a world tour apologizing for America's arrogance in Europe.  Let's look at that arrogance.
• Either chooses not to properly salute the flag  during our National Anthem or is too stupid to know how to salute his country's flag!

I believe that President Obama is a disgrace to America and its fallen heroes and is nothing but a pandering politician trying to act like he cares.

But that's just me.  Just vote carefully and appropriately in November, remember the future of America depends on you!

Facebook IPO, the Titanic of 2012

Like the Titanic in 1912 Facebook's launch as a publicly traded company in 2012 has figuratively met the same fate as the Titanic's 1912 maiden voyage.  Like the Titanic, Facebook's IPO was unsinkable and like the Titanic, Facebook's IPO "sank" on its maiden voyage!

Unlike the Titanic, which had a sustainable business model, except for the arrogance of its leader, Captain Smith, and that pesky iceberg Facebook's business model is not sustainable, although it has a similarly arrogant leader, Mark Zuckerberg.

Here in flyover country, this just does not pass the common sense "smell" test!

Who killed Bin Laden? Here's a Marine's answer:

Let's be clear on this: OBAMA did NOT kill Bin Laden. An American special operations team,
who Obama, just a few weeks before, was debating on whether or not to PAY,
did! In fact, if you remember a little less than two years ago, his
administration actually charged and attempted to court-martial three Navy
Seals from Seal Team Six, when a terrorist suspect they captured, complained
they had punched him during the take-down and bloodied his nose. Obama's
administration further commented how brutal they were. The left were calling
them Nazi's and Baby Killers. Now as Obama continues his re-election effort all of a sudden, the very brave men they vilified are now heroes when they make his administration look good in the
eyes of the public. 

Obama just happened to be the one in office when the CIA finally found Osama, and our special operations team took him out. Essentially, Obama only gave an answer, Yes or No, to him being taken out. This is NOT an Obama victory, but an AMERICAN victory!!

Your government believes that the best way to eradicate trillions of dollars of debt is to spend trillions more of our money. You know you live in an Upside-down Land if.... A seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for calling his teacher"cute" but hosting a sexual exploration or diversity class in grade school is perfectly acceptable. The Supreme Court of the United States can rule that lower courts cannot display the 10 Commandments in their courtroom, while sitting in front of a display of the 10 Commandments. Children are forcibly removed from parents who appropriately discipline them while children of "underprivileged" drug addicts are left to rot in filth infested cesspools. You pay your mortgage faithfully, denying yourself the newest big screen TV while your neighbor defaults on his mortgage (while buying iphones, TV's and new cars) and the government forgives his debt and reduces his mortgage (with your tax dollars). You know you live in an Upside-down Land if.... Your government can add anything they want to your kid's water (fluoride, chlorine, etc.) but you are not allowed to give them raw milk. You know you live in an Upside-down Land if.... Being stripped of the ability to defend yourself makes you "safe". You know you live in an Upside-down Land if.... You have to have your parents signature to go on a school field trip but not to get an abortion. You know you live in an Upside-down Land if.... An 80 year old woman can be stripped searched by the TSA but a Muslim woman in a burqa is only subject to having her neck and head searched. You know you live in an Upside-down Land if.... Using the "N" word is considered "hate speech" but writing and signing songs about raping women and killing cops is considered "art".

The United Way President Brian Gallagher receives a $675,000 base salary along with numerous expense benefits.  

UNICEF CEO Caryl M. Stern receives $1,900,000 per year (158K) per month, plus all expenses including a ROLLS ROYCE. Less than 5 cents (4.4 cents) per donated dollar goes to the cause.

The Salvation Army's Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization. 96 percent of donated dollars go to the cause. The American Legion National Commander receives a $0.00 zero salary. Your donations go to help Veterans and their families and youth! · The Veterans of Foreign Wars National Commander receives a $0.00 zero salary. Obama: 'Sometimes I Forget' Magnitude of the Recession!

Is this not priceless, President Obama admits, "Sometimes I forget the magnitude of the recession!"

So let's examine how President Obama could possibly forget the magnitude of the recession?

• Could it be that he forgets the magnitude of the recession because he acts exempt from all rules and regulations, including the US Constitution, that the rest us (his subjects) must live by?
• Could it be that he forgets the magnitude of the recession because he doesn't pay for anything, his housing is paid for by his subjects (taxpayers), his transportation is paid for by his subjects (taxpayers), his vacations are paid for by his subjects (taxpayers), and what is not paid for by his subjects (taxpayers) is paid for by his campaign funds!
• Could it be that he forgets the magnitude of the recession because his wife and his family travel the world at the expense of his subjects (taxpayers)!

And what is just as bad is that the remaining 535 idiots we subjects have elected live equally royally off of their subjects, who keep electing them.

Why America is fed up with its politicians! Even the good ones are nothing but beggars!

This my friends is exactly what is wrong with politicians, if they spent half as much doing their jobs as the do begging for money, perhaps they could actually be a catalyst for positive change.  I love what Scott Walker has done in Wisconsin, but why the hell would I want to contribute to his campaign fund.  If the citizens of Wisconsin won't support him why would a common sense thinker from fly-over country feel compelled to send him money?

Has anyone ever had a politician as a question or do a mailing that did not involve someone giving them money?  I sure have not!

‘On My Behalf'

Speaking of arrogant, mis-quieded narcissistic individuals, here is a blurb from a recent article on Mr. Obama's decision to support gay marriage.   His views on gay marriage are irrelevant, everyone knew he was going to pander to his base and take that stand.  But he changes mind more often that Bill Clinton changes sexual partners so you never can trust anything he says.  But the interesting and very telling statement in the article are Mr. Obama's words about the great men and women who fight and die for our freedoms.  

“I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I talked to friends and family and neighbors, when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together; when I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that ‘don't ask, don't tell’ is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I've just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married.”

"Fighting on my behalf" does Mr. Obama really believe that our troops are fighting on his behalf?  What a crock of horse manure!  Mr. Obama's malignant narcissism is so advanced he is completely out of touch!  


Let me tell you something Mr. Obama, the young men and women of the United States armed forces fight for the American people and for this Country.  They do what they do because American values and freedoms are worth fighting and dying for, they do not fight on your behalf! You were elected to the job of Commander in Chief, you did nothing, other than pander to voters, to get that job.  But in spite of your gross incompetence and your inept leadership, these young men and women offer up their services and their lives for this great country.  They only report to you because of our Constitution (which you and your justice department trash everyday) gives the power of Commander in Chief to the person holding the office of the President.  You have no clue how to lead men and women of honor, you are simply a placeholder in time.  Delude yourself and those who live on and for your handouts, but please don't ever dishonor our troops again by insinuating our soldiers are fighting on "your behalf", nothing could be further from truth!

The operation was carried out with skill and precision by a brave fighting force. Ourservicemen and women and our coalition allies have faced many dangers in the hunt for members of the fallen regime, and in their effort to bring hope and freedom to the Iraqi people. Their work continues, and so do the risks. Today, on behalf of the nation, I thank the members of our Armed Forces and I congratulate them.

Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power

New Ice Cream Flavor for the Election Season!

In honor of the 44th President of the United States , Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: Barocky Road .

Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.

The cost is $92.84 per scoop…so out of a hundred dollar bill you are at least promised some CHANGE! 

When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but after you pay for it, the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you at no charge. You are left with an almost empty wallet, staring at an empty cone and wondering what just happened. Then you realize this is what "redistribution of wealth" is all about.  Stimulating, isn't it?
