What the Romney/Ryan Foreign Policy Should Be
The following was written by a friend. If I had the power to talk to Mitt Romney I would suggest he adopt this as this Foreign Policy position. Simple, effective, and executable and if he did I suspect after it was executed repeatedly and effectively attacks on America would be come a thing of the past.
Harsh, ask the families of Ambassador Stevens, his body guards, and all the families of American soldiers who everyday put their lives (and many who have already given their life and/or been maimed and crippled) for the freedom we enjoy in this country.

IN PERSPECTIVE
Some history makers understand the significance of their actions better than the historians who try to interpret those action many years later.
A judge on one of the international war crimes trials in the Pacific after WWII was one of these.This Dutch jurist was one of my professors at The Hague Academy of International Law in The Hague, Holland, in 1960. He believed that the war crimes trials in both Germany and the Pacific were serious mistakes.
He called the trials victors’ justice that changed the face of war. Prior to WWII, the only military and civilian leaders of a vanquished country who died were those leading their troops on the battlefield.
Some of the better known leaders in that category include Napoleon, who was exiled to Elba. General Robert E. Lee was allowed to surrender his sword to General Grant at Appomattox Court House, Virginia, and return home on his horse Traveller. On November 9, 1911, two days before the armistice that ended the killing in WWI, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany/Prussia was allowed to seek asylum and live in exile in Holland.
The 1940’s, however, created a new drama. First, Mussolini and his mistress were killed and hung for display in public. Then the surviving military and civilian leaders of Germany and Japan were placed on trial for public ridicule and then execution.
This Dutch jurist believed that the leaders in future conflicts would consider their fate as losers worse than dying as martyrs or heroes on the battle fields. They would fight to the bitter end and require their followers to face the same fate.
Until recently, he may have been right. If Saddam Hussein had been offered the option of safe passage for his family and official entourage to exile in a friendly country, would some lives have been saved in Iraq? If such an offer were made today to Bashar Hafez al-Assad iof Syria, could the carnage in that beleaguered country end quickly?
Speculation may be the only resource for historians to answer those questions. If Hussein left any personal notes or journals that might give an insight into his thinking on the matter, they have not been publicly acknowledged. As of today, there does not appear to be any thought about granting Assad sanctuary.
So the jurist’s opinion may be irrelevant today. The current war, and we are at war, is like none other in history.
There is no single leader or commander. Our enemy is more like the Lernaean Hydra monster of Greek mythology. This monster had reptilian traits with more heads than vase-painters could paint. For each head cut off, it grew two more.
A Hydra does sound like the radical Muslim armies we are fighting throughout the Middle East and elsewhere. Every country seems to have one or more elements of al Qaeda, Hezbollah, or some such under independent leadership. They may, or may not be, coordinated. When necessary, however, they will act in concert.
This was fully evident last week with the coordinated attacks against U.S. embassies and consulates in 21 countries of the Middle East and elsewhere.
The naive Obama administration refuses to label this as a war on our interests. It is instead, in their limp excuses, uncoordinated attacks by Muslims unhappy about a film critical of Mohammad that was produced in this country.
The evidence, however, is that these were well planned, coordinated attacks with sophisticated weapons that began on the anniversary of 9/11.
As the leaders of these movements believe that dying in these causes makes them martyrs in the eyes of Mohammad, no rational arguments will dissuade them from continued war on what they consider to be the Great Satan.
So here’s the perspective.
Although the current administration refuses to admit that we are at war, it regularly takes action to eliminate any need for war crimes trials. It assassinates with drone strikes those considered to be leaders of actions against our interests. Most of these violate the sovereignty of the nations in which the strikes occur.
It is past time for us to get serious about this war and take the drone strikes to the next level. Embassies are sovereign territories of the U.S. Host countries are responsible for protecting that sovereignty. In recent cases, that protection is lacking, lives have been lost, and property has been damaged.
So if the U.S. is to get serious and reestablish itself as an international power to be reckoned with, it should:
One--stop apologizing and blaming the attacks on American sovereignty on a film instead of labeling the attacks as the war battles they are.
Two--stop financial aid of every kind to any country in which there has been damage to U.S. property until that damage is repaired or replaced to our specifications with host country resources.
Three--announce that in future cases of this nature, the host country will be notified that the U.S. is under attack. If the attack is not suppressed within three hours, a number of U.S. planes will make a strafing run over the mob with indiscriminate killing of any one in the mob. In such cases, U.S. sovereignty is being attacked and we would be justified in violating the host country’s sovereignty to protect our own property.
Four--announce that leaders of the mobs who can be identified and escape whatever protective actions we take will be subject to future summary assassination from drones.
With this type of war and this type of strategy, there is no need for war crimes tribunals.

One of the President's "Proudest Accomplishments" of the last three Years!

And . . . the Administration thinks this is not an act against America and certainly not the Administration, it is simply that the radical Islamist are not happy about a YouTube video!
Hmmm, does that pass anyone's reasonableness test? Certainly does not pass mine!

Old Farts Club, a badge of Honor!
If you happen to be over the age of 55 you are likely to be called an "Old Fart". You should feel pride at being called an Old Fart because!
- Old Farts are easy to spot at sporting events; during the playing of the National Anthem, remove their caps and stand at attention and sing without embarrassment. They know the words and believe in them.
- Old Farts remember World War II, Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal , Normandy and Hitler.
- Old Farts remember the Atomic Age, the Korean War, The Cold War, the Jet Age and the Moon Landing.
- Old Farts remember the 50 plus Peacekeeping Missions from 1945 to 2005, not to mention Vietnam.
- If you bump into an Old Fart on the sidewalk he will apologize.
- If you pass an Old Fart on the street, he will nod or tip his cap to a lady.
- Old Farts trust strangers and are courtly to women.
- Old Farts hold the door for the next person and always, when walking, make certain the lady is on the inside for protection.
- Old Farts get embarrassed if someone curses in front of women and children and they don't like any filth or dirty language on TV or in movies.
- Old Farts have moral courage and personal integrity. They seldom brag unless it's about their children or grandchildren.
- It's the Old Farts who know our great country is protected, not by politicians, but by the young men and women in the military serving their country.

Is there more to the Assassination of the American Ambassador to Libya than the Obama Administration is Telling Us
When you hear the Integrity Free Media regurgitate the talking points from the Obama Administration about how this is simply a bunch of distraught local Islamic fundamentalist who were expressing their free speech rights who overwhelmed the US Embassy in Libya and Cairo, after you read the following article you might think differently . Whether it is true or not I cannot attest to, but it certainly has more credence that what is coming out of the White House, or the campaign plane!

American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.
The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the "safe house" in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed "safe".
Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups, while some of the other documents are said to relate to oil contracts.
According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and "lockdown", under which movement is severely restricted.

Senior officials are increasingly convinced, however, that the ferocious nature of the Benghazi attack, in which rocket-propelled grenades were used, indicated itwas not the result of spontaneous anger due to the video, called Innocence of Muslims. Patrick Kennedy, Under-Secretary at the State Department, said he was convinced the assault was planned due to its extensive nature and the proliferation of weapons.
There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa'ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks.

In April 2009, Lou Pritchett wrote President Obama and the New York Times a letter titled "You Scare Me" because, as a candidate, he promised to "fundamentally transform America." Last July Mr. Pritchett, after observing his performance for over three years, provided the following insight as to why President Obama now terrifies him:
FIRST: He has done more to damage America's standing in the world, to lower the standard of living in America, to impoverish future generations and to shake our faith in the country's future than any other American president in history.
SECOND: With a compliant Democrat congress, a lapdog media and a weak, almost nonexistent Republican opposition, he has shattered the American dream of job security, home ownership and rugged individualism for millions of Americans and has poisoned and divided our civil society with his politics of envy, class warfare, race warfare, and religious warfare which he is using as fundamental building blocks for his 'socialist' agenda.
THIRD: Culturally, he remains totally out of touch with traditional American values. This has absolutely nothing to do with race or where he was born, rather it has everything to do with where, how and with whom he was raised, schooled, educated, trained and associates with still today.
FOURTH: He has surrounded himself with naive academicians, lawyers, politicians, bureaucrats and socialist-leaning czars who arrogantly think and behave exactly as he does. People who offer no balanced suggestions or devils advocate positions and think in lock-step with him that big government is the answer to all our problems.
FIFTH: He not only encourages but aids and abets in the unionization of all American industry, the albatross around the neck of the free market. In turn, they provide the money and muscle to intimidate his opponents.
SIXTH: He has increased the national debt by over 30% in just three years. If re-elected and this rate of increase continues, America will be burdened with an unsustainable $20 trillion dollar debt which will result in the country's financial death. Recovery will be impossible - America will be the Greece of 2016.
SEVENTH: Given his fanatical adherence to the 'environmental' and 'man-caused global warming' fringe, he has deliberately discouraged U.S. fossil fuel exploration and production while wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on solar, wind and algae experiments. He refuses to accept that oil, gas and coal are not America's enemies, they are America's assets which, if properly managed, could make us energy independent within a generation.
EIGHTH: He views the U.S. as a power in retreat which abused its World dominance. Therefore, he systematically apologizes round the world. Last March he whispered to Russian President Medvedev "... this is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility." Just what is the secret that Obama and Putin are concealing from the American people until after the election? With what other leaders has he made similar secret agreements?
NINTH: And finally, after all his missteps, bad decision making, poor management, and zero leadership, the fact that he has the audacity to seek re-election should terrify every American.

"TO EVERY MAN THERE COMES IN HIS LIFETIME THAT SPECIAL MOMENT WHEN HE IS PHYSICALLY TAPPED ON THE SHOULDER AND OFFERED THE CHANCE TO DO A VERY SPECIAL THING, UNIQUE TO HIM AND FITTED TO HIS TALENT; WHAT A TRAGEDY IF THAT MOMENT FINDS HIM UNPREPARED OR UNQUALIFIED FOR THE WORK WHICH WOULD BE HIS FINEST HOUR."
And all we have to do is vote for Romney/Ryan in November.

It contained two tomato seeds, cornbread mix, a prayer rug, a machine to blow smoke up my ass, 2 discount coupons to KFC, an "Obama Hope & Change" sticker, and a "Blame it on Bush" poster for the front yard. The directions were in Spanish.

President Obama cannot win re-election in 2012

Obama cannot win re-election for one simple reason; America and the world now
have a much clearer picture of who Barack Hussein Obama really is and he has a
track record of performance that allows reasonable people to deduce, based on
his past performance, what he will do in the future. That is not something America had at its
disposal in the 2008 campaign.
If
you remember in 2008, Obama was a virtually unknown Senator from Illinois.
He burst onto the national scene in 2004 when he spoke at the
Democratic National Convention. He
presented a message of hope, a message of one America pulling together for a
common good. The following is a quote
from then Senatorial Candidate Obama.
“Now even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to
divide us, the spin masters, the negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics
of anything goes.
Well, I say to them tonight, there is not a liberal America and
a conservative America — there is the United States of America. There is not a
Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America —
there’s the United States of America.
The pundits, the pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into
Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for
Democrats. But I’ve got news for them, too: We worship an awesome God in the
Blue States, and we don’t like federal agents poking around in our libraries in
the Red States
The
Barack Obama of 2004 was a man who by all indications was attempting to unify
and unite America. He even motivated me and I thought, “ I am glad
President Bush is running against John Kerry and not Barak Obama.”
Barack
Obama continued his rise in popularity and emerged as a leading contender for
the Democratic nomination for the 2008 campaign. One of his opponents at the
time, Joe Biden, said, “I
mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and
bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
What
most of America did not know in 2008 is that Obama was and is a master of
disguise. Even as he approached the 2008
primary, his record in the Senate gave little real indication of his views. As the New York Times reported in December
2007 in an article by Raymond Hernandez and Christopher Drew,
“The
record has become an issue on the presidential campaign trail, as Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, his chief rival for the
Democratic nomination, has seized on the “
present” votes he cast on a series
of anti-abortion bills to portray Mr. Obama as a “talker” rather than a “doer.””
And
while a few of his opponents took Barack Obama to task on his past, the
Integrity Free Media seemed disinterested in doing any vetting, reporting on
his record, or his background. So Obama emerged on the scene in 2008 running
for the Democratic nomination with no track record to review, and those who had
the power and responsibility to vet him (including the Democratic Party) simply
chose not to do so. Of course the Integrity Free Media is so far in the
tank for Democrats that they just didn't think it was important. And you
can bet your bottom dollar none of them wanted to be branded as racist by
looking into the past of a black Democratic candidate who could one day be
president. The picture the public had of
Barack Obama was that he was simply a brilliant young man with charm and a big
smile that was promising Hope and Change for America.
In
the 2008 campaign for the Democratic nomination, then Senator Hillary Clinton
in an interview with ABC's Cynthia McFadden, when asked about the Barack Obama
phenomenon, provided this insight, "I
think the best description actually is in Barack's own book" Clinton said,
"where he said that he is a blank screen and people of widely different
views project what they want to hear." Clinton continued saying "he
just hasn't been around long enough." Clinton continued saying "But
with the blank screen it gives you a chance to just really infuse it with
whatever you hope for, whatever you want without knowing."
Barack
Obama is a very intelligent and cagey politician. In 2008 the country was
in turmoil, George Bush was term limited and people were frustrated with the
Iraq and Afghanistan wars. In 2007
the Democrats had taken control of both the House and the Senate and were doing
what they always do, loading the country with debt and expanding social
programs as if there was no tomorrow.
Barack
Obama came along and a majority of Americans decided it was time to trust
America's future to the young man who offered a unifying message filled with
hope and promising change in America. His message was effective, focused
and reasoned. And Americans projected on his "blank
screen" what we wanted to see. Some projected on his screen, as Joe
Biden said, an articulate, clean young black man who offered hope for the
future. Some saw him as a healer who could allow America to get over its
racism. Some were convinced upon hearing his acceptance speech that President
Obama would provide them not only everything they needed, he would provide them
everything whatever they wished for!
Many
American's voted for him because he was a historic figure, the first black man
to have an opportunity to be the President of United States. They wanted to be
part of history, to say to their grandchildren, I helped elect the first black
President of the United States. Of course many voted for him because they decided
to give Barack Obama, the unknown Senator for Chicago a chance, or simply
decided to sit out the election because the Republican’s failed to run a viable
candidate.
And
then five days before the election, candidate Obama said, "We are five days away from
fundamentally transforming the United States of America." And this was perhaps the
first hint that what we had all projected on his blank screen, wasn't exactly
what candidate Obama had in mind, but it was simply too late to change the tide
and Obama, the unknown Senator from Illinois was swept into office.
Obviously
the Integrity Free Media failed the American public by not investigating Barack
Hussein Obama's real agenda. But that was 2008 and now President Obama is
no longer an unknown Senator with no track record, he is a sitting President of
the United States and while millions voted for him before they knew him, we now
know what he really meant when he said, "We are five
days from fundamentally changing the United States of America" and we now
know what is playing on Obama's blank screen.

Median family income has
fallen 7.3 percent (about $4,000) since Mr. Obama's inauguration. Most of that decline
(4.8 percent) has happened since the recovery officially began in July 2009.

The unemployment rate
was 7.8 percent when Mr. Obama took office, but has been above 8 percent in every
month since, the longest period of prolonged high unemployment since the Great
Depression, according to the Congressional Budget Office. There are now 811,000
more long-term unemployed than when the recession officially ended.
•
The poverty rate has
increased from 14.3 percent in 2009 to 15.1 percent. There are nearly 12
million more people receiving food stamps now than when the recovery began.
•
Gas prices have doubled
since Mr. Obama became president. We spend about 21 percent more on food each
week than we did in 2010.
•
Reparations from America to the World – His actions and his policies are
focused on the systematic reduction of America to third world nation status in
order to mitigate America's influence in the world. His belief
is that wealthy people got wealthy by stealing from the poor!

All good comes from government and all evil evolves from the free
enterprise system. He has said, “If you own a business, you didn’t build
that!”
•
Deployment of the ultimate weapon of Mass Destruction,
ever increasing debt. In January 2007 the national debt of
the US was
approximately $8.6 trillion. By the end of November 2012 the US national
debt will be approaching $16 trillion. Obama and the Democrats have added as
much debt in the last 6 years than had been accumulated from 1789 through 2006.
This is simply unsustainable and Obama knows it, but the problem is
that saddling the US with this debt is his plan because it will make more
American’s dependent upon government.

The redistribution of wealth in America. The top 50% of American
worker’s already pay 95% of all taxes. But Obama
and the Democrats think you don’t yet pay your fair share.
•
Obama and the Democrats effectively nationalize healthcare in America
with the Affordable Care Act of 2009, passed without a single Republican
vote. Affectionately known as Obama care,
the 2500 page bill, passed before it was
written,
provides fewer choices, lower quality of care, higher cost, and long lines. 70%
of all American's are against this law, but it is part of his plan to level the
playing field by bankrupting America.

President Obama has no
respect for the US Constitution. Beginning
with the appointment of Czars to assume key roles by-passing the consent of
Congress, the use of Executive Orders to institute policies that Congress has
refused to pass, to instructing the Justice Department not to enforce laws he
doesn’t believe in, to instructing the Justice Department to file suit against
states who are enforcing laws Obama doesn’t like.

President Obama is dismantling America's ability to defend itself and to
act in support if its allies by reducing our military, cutting pay and benefits
and worse he is cooperating with the Russians in reducing our nuclear arsenal.

President Obama has invoked
executive privilege to stonewall the congressional investigation regarding his Justice
Departments Fast and Furious operation.

President Obama has
engaged in class warfare hate speech and continues to try to divide America by pitting one group
against another.

Obama nationalized General
Motors taking a once public traded independent company over essentially
nullifying the US Bankruptcy laws, to provide a payoff to the United Autoworkers
Union, while causing significant financial harm to the former financier’s and
bond holders of GM, using your and my money to do it, without the consent of
Congress.

During his first 1,225
days in office, Obama attended his PDB just 536 times — or 43.8 percent of the
time. During 2011 and the first half of 2012, his attendance became even less
frequent — falling to just over 38 percent. By contrast, Obama’s predecessor, George
W. Bush almost never missed his daily intelligence meeting.

In July 2012, a GAI analysis of President Obama’s calendar
found that the president has spent just 412 hours in economic meetings of any
kind throughout his presidency versus the over 600 hours he’s spent golfing.
Now
folks these are just facts and all this happened in the first 3 ¾ years. Can you imagine what America will look like
if we reward this kind of destructive performance by Obama with an additional
four years in the White House? I believe
millions of Americans have seen the light but more importantly I believe that
generally all American’s want a better America and they now know Barak Hussein
Obama is trying to “fundamentally transform the United States of America” in a
way that will be difficult, if not impossible to recover from. We need fewer than
10,000,000 folks to see the light and less if they are in key states. Obama will not get his masses out this time;
the bloom is off the Rose. And do not
ever think that Obama is not a smart and cagey politician. His actions seem, to God loving Americans, to
be that of an inept fool. Nothing could
be further from the truth, Obama has been very successful its just that his
plan is so diabolically opposite from any former President that the American
public simply cannot believe someone who is an American would be trying to
destroy the country we all love so much.
Never confuse Obama with Carter; Carter was an inept fool but generally
a nice guy. Obama is a diabolical
politician, trained and mentored by communist, terrorists and union thugs and is capable of
anything anyone can conceive of.
You
must do what your conscience tells you on November 6, 2012 but remember America
still belongs to its citizens, not to out of control politicians! Vote wisely!

GM Sales are booming, or are they?
79 % of GM’s sales last month was government purchased, during 2012 Remember how Obama keeps telling us how he saved GM, and how our economy is getting better, it seems the car company he bought is being saved by Govt employees using our tax money to buy new cars. GM’s sales figures for last month were the best since 2008 , up 16% for the month of June. YIPPEE! Well, wait just a minute. It seems that those rosy sales figures are due primarily to a 79% increase in fleet sales to the U.S. government in June.
That’s right. Our tax dollars are being used to pump up GM’s sales figures ahead of next month’s quarterly report so that our Dear Leader can point to "Government Motors" as a huge success. The incestuous relationship between GM, the UAW and the Regime has never been more glaringly apparent.
GM is unsustainable without government subsidies and will ultimately go bust again, taking billions of taxpayer dollars down with it .We bailed out General Motors to the tune of $50 billion. $30 billion of this is effectively a loss, mostly sunk into fattening the United Auto Workers union—plus fierce fierce Obama supporters—while the actual bondholders were shown the elevator shaft.
Meanwhile, as News Busters reports, “We the Taxpayers are still stuck holding 500+ million shares of GM stock. Which we need to sell at $53 per share. Which debuted post-bankruptcy at $33 per share.. And which is currently trading at just over $20 per. Meaning we’ll lose about $15 billion.”But it gets better. Despite the overwhelming negatives, the tiny bright spot of positive June sales numbers is being heralded by Obama and the leftist press as proof the auto bailout was a “success.” Obama is now campaigning on the “success” of – the government buying cars from…the government’s car company. with our money.
Americanvision says That’s like you setting up a lemonade stand for your kids. You buy them the lemons, sugar, cups and pitchers – and then buy most of the lemonade yourself.
The pressure is on Government Motors to appear financially strong as this may be the last earnings report before November elections and sets the stage for how “successful” GM is. One of GM’s past tricks to help fudge earnings numbers has been to stuff truck inventory channels. Old habits die hard at GM. According to a Bloomberg report, “GM said inventory of its full-size pickups, which will be refreshed next year, climbed to 238,194 at the end of June, a 135 days’ supply, up from 116 days at the end of May.” 135 days’ supply is huge, the accepted norm is a 60 day supply. The trick here is that GM records revenue (probably at list prices for costing and sales number) when vehicles go into dealerships to be floor planned.
We are being fed a numbers game.
